Adrian Dică studied economics, mathematics and computer science before becoming in 2011 student of the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
In 2014 he obtained a BA in painting. In the same year he was awarded by the National University of Fine Arts with an Excellence Diploma in painting and he won 3rd Prize and Special Prize “Urban Attitude” at Juventus Contemporary Art Award Contest (Jecza Gallery, Timișoara).
In 2015 Moldovan Ministry of Culture awarded him the Excellence Diploma in painting, and in 2016 Adrian Dică completed master studies “Strategies for creative painting”, UNARTE. The 2012-2016 artistic work period includes national and international group exhibitions such as “Via Pontika Youth Festival” (Balchik, Bulgaria), “Transform Art in Education 2014” (Brâncuși Hall, Palace of Parliament, Bucharest) and “Tramsform 2016” at National Museum of Contemporary Arts Zagreb, Croatia or “DIE NATUR DES KÜNSTLERS”(Vienna, Austria).
In 2017 he was awarded with Prize for Painting by National Union of Artists and Finalist Teodor Moraru Award.
In 2018 exhibited at Huntenkunst “Focus on Romania – Central Pavilion”, representing Romania and also at WIPO, Geneva, SWI. He was awarded with a Painting Prize at Balassi Cultural Institute in Bucharest and was selected to exhibit at National Centenar Painting Salon at National Museum of Art in Bucharest, Ro.
